Leveraging frame-by-frame animation
Founded by Reynard Misae in 2021, Ploopy Animations provides a safe creative haven for those willing to put the time into learning and creating quality pictures that works best with the medium.
It all started when a comic strip and animation test footage received numerous praise from professors at the university of South Carolina. Reynard then noticed a growing fanbase.
While the world is moving on to computer generated imagery (CGI) and motion graphics, frame-by-frame animation retains a specific audience enraptured by the personal touch and attention given to each frame. However, frame-by-frame animation still in its infancy in Indonesia with few options offering a one-stop-solution.
Ploopy Animations continues to grow with Alexander Abel, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Litek Kosman, the animation director, joining the team. The studio had now told stories of various companies and for-purpose organisations across Indonesia and will continue to share and create quality pictures with our audience in the years to come.
Our approach
From day one, we strived to tell a good story through personalised frame-by-frame animation. Starting off with our original series, “Seven: Time Well Spent”, we now weave in our personal touch in retelling the stories of Personal Growth, Bank Negara Indonesia, as well as Energy Mega Persada. Today, we’re a team of 10 creatives based in bustling Jakarta, specialising in frame-by-frame animation packaged with personalised brand consultation and campaign design.
