SUPPORTINg ENERGY R&D IN INDONESIA

Exploring Indonesia’s seismic potential

Overview

PT Energi Mega Persada was looking for a way to profile their company. We believe that their strength lies in what they do as they contribute to energy innovation in Indonesia through seismic surveys. We want to make sure this shines through the animation we made.

A moodboard showing illustrations made by Winchestermeg, an artist. The moodboard described how the artists draw inspirations from these pictures. Specifically, from how the artist draw clothes pattern & accessories, make fabrics look flow-y, use close-to-real-life macroproportion and integrate their styles in the microproportion instead, as well as utilise vibrant, realistic tones in their drawing.

Our research

We looked into various art styles which could represent EMP well. Most of these features close-to-life character proportion, vibrant colours, and colourful backgrounds to convey a sense of both realism and optimism of the future state that EMP strives for. Once we have decided on the aspects we want to draw from and the message to convey, we developed a storyboard around the idea.
